obituary The Celina Record, Celina, Texas - August 28, 1980 Funeral services for life-long area resident Ernest Voy Rigsby, 72 of Weston, Texas were held Sunday, August 24, 1980. Mr Rigsby died in a McKinney, Texas hospital on Friday, August 22nd. Services were held in the First Baptist Church of Weston with Rev. Clyde Moore officiating. Burial was at Cottage Hill Cemetery. He was born in the Maple Community on September 1, 1907, son of the late Henry and Euna Josephine Reeves Rigsby. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Central Christian Church of Weston. He married Abbie Miller on November 8, 1929 in Madill, Oklahoma. Surviving include his wife, Abbie of Weston, Texas; a daughter Imogene Poston of Pottsboro, Texas; a brother Billy Rigsby of Richardson, Texas; two sisters, Mrs Leta Johnson of Pottsboro, Texas and Mrs Norma Garrett of Scurry, Texas. Pallbearers were Clifford Haynes, Kenneth Cowan, Jack Dwayne Bilderback, Rick Hones, Bill Montgomery, Buddy Hayes, Charles Hamby and Dennis Carr; Pemberton Funeral Home of Celina in charge.
