Placzek Accident Victim Buried Here Last Wednesday In its last issue The Times reported the death of Edward Joseph Placzek 24, after a car accident between Loup City and Ashton on March 22 and his funeral last week Wednesday. Pallbearers were Clarence Placzek, Carl Placzek Raymond Placzek, Harry Palu, Floyd Lonowski, and Ted Goius . The obituary follows: Edward Joseph Placzek was born May 21, 1923, to Veronica and Stanley Placzek in Boone County Nebraska. At a very early age he returned with his parents to Sherman County where he spent most of his life. On May 17, 1947, he married Miss Helen Dropinski of Omaha. They lived in Omaha until March 3 of this year. At the time of his death, he was 24 years ten months and one day old. He was preceded in death by one sister. He is survived by his wife Helen, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Placzek, two brothers John and Alfred four sisters: Mrs. Marie Hoult, Mrs. Stella Schimonitz, Frances and Florence Placzek. Three nieces, grandparents and other relatives. Out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoult, Mr. and Mrs. William Schimonitz and Sandra. Miss Frances Placzek, Mr. and Mrs. Zygmunt Dropinski, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Dropinski Paul Dropinski, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Leas and Patricia Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Leas, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Konert, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Latzel, Louis Kazor, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ziemba and family, Carl Placzek, Ilene Placzek, Martin Placzek and Stanley J Placzek. all of Omaha.
