WWII and Korean War veteran, member of American Legion Post 331, South Omaha Eagle's #154, Sts. Peter and Paul Men's Club. Former Scoutmaster and Order of the Arrow. Preceded in death by parents Boris and Josephine; brother George; grandson Joseph S. Vazzano. Survived by loving wife of 61 years Helen (Jergovic); children Tom and Jan Visty, Mary and Tom Cyronek, Las Vegas, Joni and Joe Vazzano, Tim and Amy Visty, Olathe, KS, Colleen and Nick Schinker; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Boris "BJ" and Victor Visty, Omaha and Robert Visty, CA; sister Victoria Driml. VISITATION Sunday 2-6pm with Vigil Service 3pm at the funeral home. FUNERAL Monday 9:20am Bethany Chapel to Sts. Peter & Paul Church (36th & "X") at 10am for MASS of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery. Military honors by American Legion Post 331 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Sts. Peter and Paul Building Fund.
