In Loving Memory of Victor Visty. Passed peacefully on July 4, 2025 Victor Visty lived a full and vibrant life into his 90s—one rooted in faith, family, and simple joys. A proud South Omaha native, Vic never forgot where he came from. He was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, enjoyed seeing new places, and found peace in the quiet moments—especially at the family cabin, where he loved to feed the birds, watch the river, and nap in his favorite rocking chair. Victor was the beloved husband of the late Nadine Visty, with whom he shared a lifetime of companionship, creativity, and adventure. Together, they filled their years with square dancing, woodworking projects, and building their Christmas village that became a family tradition. They also shared a love of travel, spending many joyful times exploring the Black Hills and relaxing in the beauty of Hawaii. He was the proud father of Mary Jo (Frank) Stika and Dan (Judi) Visty and is reunited in heaven with his son Mark Visty. Affectionately known as Grandpa Visty, Vic, or Grandpapa, he leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who will always remember his warmth and gentle humor. Victor was also deeply devoted to his family of origin and remained incredibly close to his four brothers and one sister, all of whom preceded him in death. The bond they shared was lifelong and unshakable—and surely one of the greatest joys of his heavenly homecoming will be the reunion with them once again. Victor's life was a beautiful testament to love and devotion. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the many lives he touched with kindness and grace. By~Nisa Visty
