Son of Boris A. Visty and Josephine Barbara Vacke. He married Marjorie Truman 31 Jul 1945, she died 14 Mar 1969. On 29 Jun 1971 he married Bonnie Parker. Columbus Republic 3 Jun 2005 George A. Visty Vallonia George A. Visty, 81, of Vallonia died at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia with Father John Hall and the Rev. Michael Hogg officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and from noon until service time Sunday. Burial and military graveside rites will be at Vallonia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Providence Church or Brownstown Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Parker Visty; children, Carol (Tom) Poole of Louisville, Ky., Michael Visty of Versailles, Ky., Nancy (Orbie) Morris of Louisville, Sherrie (Leroy) Anderson of Columbus and Juli (Marty) Visty Fleetwood and Tami (James) Hurt, both of Brownstown; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Victoria Driml of Omaha, Neb.; and brothers, B.J., Ed and Victor Visty, all of Omaha, and Bob Visty of Los Angeles. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Truman Visty.
