Bio

Emily A. Jacobsen, 80, of Merna died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at Custer Care Center at Broken Bow. Emily was born March 12, 1930, in Valley County to Wencil and Emma (Hulinsky) Bruha. Emily married Paul Jacobsen. Emily was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara. Survivors are: husband, Paul; sons, Ron of Merna and John of Geneva; daughters, LeAnn Custer of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lori Utemark of Geneva; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
