CARTER, Robert Merle, 88, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2000 in Tulsa, OK. Born July 31, 1912 in Wells County, IN to Robert Homer and Viola Bouse Carter. Retired Engineer from Amoco and former owner of Romer Marine Co. Member of the Service Pipeline Annuitants Club. He was an avid TU sports fan and fisherman. He enjoyed boating and woodworking. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Phil Keeter and Dorothy Kay and Robert (Bud) Jamison, all of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Jessie Laisure of Peoria, IL. Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2000 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
