Linda Gail Curlee Muegge was born on September 23, 1951, in Jackson County, Texas, the middle child of six, to James Paden "J.P." Curlee and Marguerite (Phillips) Curlee. Being the middle child, Linda always wanted to make everyone happy and did not like to argue. Linda was the family entertainer and, hands down, the best storyteller ever. Linda married Barron Muegge on September 8, 1973, and for most of their marriage, they lived on Camp Creek Lake. She was blessed with the birth of her daughter, Megan, in 1988. Linda was the favorite Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. They all called her "Winnie". Linda worked for many years as the Right-of-Way Manager for the Brazos County Road and Bridge Department. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and working in her yard. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Texana Chapter. She looked forward every year to the annual "Sista's" trip that she took with her sisters, Jewell, Cindy, Sherrie, Debbie, and sister-in-law Susie. Linda passed away at her home on January 11, 2011. She was buried at Enon Cemetery outside of Edna, Texas.
