Bio

Rosie Mae Thomas, 80, of Colorado City died Sunday, July J 1990 at Mitchell County Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery. She was born October 22, 1909 in Mt. Peasant and was a homemaker. She married Willie Thomas on July 27, 1947 in Colorado City. Survivors include four daughters. Pat McCarty of Farmington, New Mexico, Sue Brown of Henderson, Nevada, Elaine Lawler of Tatam, New Mexico and Doris Mize of Odessa, three sons, James Cupp of Odessa, James Thomas of Abilene and Billy Thomas of Athens; two sisters, Juanita Abbott of Blanket and Novie Fisher of Poteet, a brother, D.R. Kelley of Ruidosa, New Mexico. 19 grand children; and 11 great-grandchildren.
