Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa Thursday, January 13, 1921 ETHEL MAE BOLES, daughter of Mr and Mrs W E Boles was born in Decatur County, Iowa, February 2, 1889, and departed this life January 2, 1921, at Syracuse Hospital in Syracuse, Kansas, being at the time of her death 31 years and 11 months old. She was united in marriage to Albert Kirkpatrick, May 10, 1904. To this union were born four children, Harold, Lois, Clair and Reba May. Before her death, she talked of Heaven and at last said she ws in Heaven. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, four children, father, mother, one brother, Floyd Boles, of Van Wert, Iowa, and four sisters, Mrs Sarah Wick of Balko, Oklahoma, Mrs Blanche Fullerton, Mrs Winona Bryant and Mrs Irene Woods of Grand River, Iowa. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Grand River, Thursday, January 6th at 2 o'clock, conducted by Reverend E C Vanderpool and intement in Grand River Cemetery.
