CULLMAN-Clara Moon Hyatt Funeral services for Clara Moon Hyatt, 98, of Crane Hill will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating, with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Crane Hill. Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hyatt passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Woodland Village Health Care and Rehab. She was born April 6, 1912, in Cullman to Charles Elijah and Mary Elizabeth Freeman Calvert. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Amon L. Moon and Voight Hyatt; daughter, Sula Alexander; son Braxton Moon; 4 sisters, Carrie Graves, Callie Emory, Laura Lay and Vida Williams; 2 brothers, David Calvert and Calvin Calvert. Survivors include a daughter, Gwen (Tracy) Welch of Shelton Grove; son, Norman (Pat) Moon; 5 sisters, Ruby Frey of Cullman, Jeannie (Herschel) Lowry of Decatur, Florence (Clarence) Willoughly of Cullman, Betty Waters of Crane Hill and Ruth Bagi of Prattville; and a brother, John Alvin Calvert of Clearwater, FL.
