Funeral services for Jennie C. Lowery, 85, of Decatur will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Scotty Hogan officiating, with interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lowery died Friday, Dec. 20, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Cullman to Charles and Mary Freeman Calvert. She worked in Administration with AT&T. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Lowery; her parents; and infant sons. Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Glenn) Blanton and Dawn (Mike) Moranha; two sons, Danny (Sue) Davis and Darron (Jane) Davis; a stepdaughter, Jane (Paul) Proly; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Published in The Cullman Times 12/23/2013.
