son of Joseph Vacek & Emilia Adamcik Husband of Janie Funeral for William Joseph Vacek, 63-year-old Seymour farmer who died Monday in the Baylor County hospital, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating was Rev. Thomas Griffin, O.M.I., pastor. Burial was in the Bomarton Cemetery under the direction of Elliston Funeral Home. A native of Fayette County, Texas, he was born July 4, 1904. He moved to Baylor County in 1934 and had resided here since that time. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the KJT Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Janie; a son, William of Seymour; a daughter, Mrs. Adamine Uselman of Ismar, Turkey; mother, Mrs. Joe Vacek of Smithville, Texas; three stepsons, Donald Vacker of San Antonio, Gilbert Vacker of Fort Worth, and 1st Lt. Robert Vacker of Del Rio; a brother, Adolph Vacek of Columbus, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Hajek of Flatonia, Texas, Mrs. Lillie Psenick [as printed] of Smithville, Mrs. Mary Freytag, Austin, and Mrs. Mary Vinklarek, also of Smithville; and eight grandchildren.
