Bio

She was born June 29, 1915, in Smithville to the late Joe and Emelia Adamcik Vacek. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Flatonia. She was a member of KJZT, Scott's Home Demonstrations and was an avid domino player. Survivors: daughter, Bernice Mann of El Campo; sister, Alice Freytag of Austin; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Rudolph Hajdik; sons Leroy J. Hajdik and Julius J. Hajdik; three sisters and three brothers. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Church, Flatonia, the Rev.
