Daughter of ANN "Nancy" (SINCLAIR) and ANDREW DOUGLAS FOSTER; Married (as his first wife) 5 Mar 1846, Washington Twp., Jackson, OH to MADISON SULLIVAN, who survived her, moved to Ringgold Co., Iowa, and married 2nd, 19 Sep 1869, CATHERINE F. SELLERS [not Gideon*] (widow of GEORGE T. THOMPSON ). There is conflicting information regarding Elizabeth's birth place. Some believe it was in Milton, Jackson, OH. There is also conflicting information regarding her date of death. Some believe the date should be 15 Jun 1867. ELIZABETH and MADISON were parents of: 1. WILLIAM S. (m. Lavina A. Moore) 2. MILTON (m. The age on MADISON's headstone is believed to be incorrect. He was supposedly born 30 Nov 1824, which seems supported by all census records, but when he died in 1891, his age was inscribed on his headstone as 63.
