Bio

Another boy & girl of J D & Martha Etheridge possibly buried here in Sept or Oct of 1913; From old records; Unconfirmed Murder victim. A young life taken far too soon. He and his younger siblings Beulah, Oscar and Richard were all murdered through arsenic poisoning by their stepmother out of jealousy for their father showering all his affections upon his eight children. The stepmother was arrested, tried, found guilty, sentenced to four life terms with an additional five years on December 23, 1913 and imprisoned for the crimes.
