Bio
Eula Mae's death was confirmed by a Texas Death Certificate. Others known to be buried here are the children of J E Etheridge, a boy and a girl in Sept or Oct 1913, also Oscar, age 5, and Dick buried in Sept or Oct 1913. (Per records of the Bosque County Historical Commission.) ********************************************************** Murder victim. A young life taken far too soon. She and her older brothers Harrison, Oscar and Richard were all murdered through arsenic poisoning by their stepmother out of jealousy for their father showering all his affections upon his eight children. The stepmother was arrested, tried, found guilty, sentenced to four life terms with an additional five years on December 23, 1913 and imprisoned for the crimes.
