Herald Coaster, May 30, 1983: Funeral services for Otto W. Tiemann, Sr., 90, of Beasley, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Friedens United Church of Christ in Beasley with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Peter Nichols will officiate. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday. The family requests memorials be made to the church. Survivors include three sons, Melvin Tiemann of Beasley, Elton Tiemann of Fairchild and Otto Tiemann Jr., of Beasley; three daughters, Mrs Hilda Roehe of Beasley, Mrs. Gladys Pape of Beasley and Mrs. Erna Mae Requardt of Rosenberg; two sisters, Mrs. Tilda Schomburg of Houston and Mrs. Hulda Richter of Needville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
