Bio

Rosenberg Herald, March 17, 1950: Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday morning for Frank C. Schmidt, 57, who passed away at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond on Monday morning. Services were held at 9 a.m. from the residence of Joe A. Schmidt at 2519 Avenue G and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerome Tydlacka officiating. Burial was in the W.O.W. Cemetery, with the Rosenberg post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in charge of the graveside. Foerster Funeral Home directed the service. Mr. Schmidt is survived by six brothers, William of San Antonio, Anton of Granger, Victor of Palestine, Joe, Ernest, and Edward, all of Rosenberg; and one sister, Mrs. Annie Poncik of Rosenberg.
