Mae Spradlin, born Sept. 4, 1935; passed away March 1, 2009. Survived by husband, Wayne Spradlin; son, Jim (Esther) Spradlin; grandsons, James (Rhonda) and Mathew (Annette); and great-granddaughter, K.D.; brothers, Steve Thomas (Janice), Johnny (Roxy) and George Wayne (Diane) Podrovitz; sisters, Patricia (Floyd) Belcher and Ann Harmon. Mae was a Texas native, but a longtime resident of Colorado City. Mae was fond of antiques and owned the Country Cottage Antique Shop in Colorado City. Mae and Wayne moved to Pueblo several years ago. Mae was well loved, leaving behind many dear friends. She also was a great cook and enjoyed feeding the cowboys.
