Bio

Mrs. Alpha Mae Hoffman, 51, of 1410 Fifth Avenue, died in a Kearney hospital early Thursday after being ill since last July when she underwent an operation. The Rev. W. E. Nelson will conduct the funeral rites at the First Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Kearney cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Otto; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Boots of Ashby and Mrs. Jess Lynch of Winterset, Iowa; four sons, Albert L. of Anderson, Indiana, Richard and James F. of Kearney and William of the Navy; five grandsons, three sisters and four brothers.
