(Albina) Dickensen, 73, of 408 West Columbus died Wednesday, June 25, 1980, in the West Community Hospital. She married E. E. "Coonie" Dickenson in Waco on November 19, 1923. They spent their life together on the family farm near Interstate 35 until his death September 4, 1968. They had one daughter, Mary Alice, who is a former teacher and taught at West High School. Her son-in-law, Milton "Poone" Morgan teaches at West High School. Mrs. Dickenson was a member of the First Baptist Church in West. For 35 years Mrs. Dickenson was the Ross area news correspondent for The West News. She also was a cook at West High School and The Village Bakery. The funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Milburn officiated. Burial was in White Rock Cemetery at Ross. Active pallbearers were: Ernest Bezdek, Jack Traylor, Tom Sandifer, Ernest Urbanovsky, Harold Alexander, and Albert Crabb. Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. B.D. Pierce, Everett Willis, Robert Busby, Wallace Gummelt, E. H. Auvenshine, J. J. Sandifer, M.O. Robinson, Jake Tucker, Ray Twitty, Donald Morgan, James Howell, Jr., Vernon Grier, and Harold McCain. Other survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. R. L. (Edna) Terrell and Mrs. Porter (Ruby) Webb, both of Bellmead; and several nieces and nephews. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
