daughter of John A. Phelps - Susan Anna Towles Blanche Phelps married Grover Skidmore in 1920 at Bellevue, Texas The couple moved to Graham, Texas in 1962 from Henrietta, Texas. Services for Mrs. Grover C. Skidmore, 80, were held at the First Baptist church at Bellevue. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Survived by her husband; two sons - James Davis Skidmore and Charles Phelps Skidmore; three daughters - Mrs. Anna Lou Myers, Mrs. Eva Joe Ratliff, Mrs. Marjorie Ellen Carrell; three sisters - Mrs. Lucy Francis Taylor, Mrs. C.C. Ware, MRs. Brina Phelops Porter.
