Bio

Grover Skidmore married Blanche Phelps in 1920 at Bellevue, Texas. Grover and Blanche moved to Graham, Texas in 1962 from Henrietta, Clay County, Texas. Services for Grover Cleveland Skidmore, 85, retired nurseryman, were held at Bellevue Baptist church officiated by Rev. Darrius McKay, pastor of Holliday Baptist church. Mr. Skidmore moved to Graham, Texas in 1962 from Henrietta, Texas. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church at Bellevue, Texas. Survived by four daughters - Mrs. Viola Mae Collian, Mrs. Anna Lou Myers, Mrs. Eva Joe Ratliff, Mrs. Marjorie Ellen Carrell; one son - James Davis Skidmore; 33 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
