Bio

Pauline grew up in a cotton sharecropping family. She married Albert Herring Sowders on July 27, 1945 at the Limestone County Courthouse located in Groesbeck, Texas. She had an ear for music and played the piano, organ, and guitar. She was an excellent homemaker. She was employed for many years as a seamstress and flag maker. Pauline passed away December 21, 1976 after three unsuccessful heart by-passes. Pauline was survived by her husband and two daughters.
