Studley, the son of George and Sara Studley, was born January 9, 1881 at Cabry, Illinois and departed this life May 1, at 7:45 p.m. at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 21 days at his home near Wolbach. He had been ill only a short time. He and his wife, Cecil, were united in marriage on March 13, 1907 at Greeley, Nebraska. To this union four children were born, two daughters and two sons. He was a devoted Christian and a member of the Methodist church, a kind and loving father, a real friend and neighbor, who always thought of others first. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Besides his many friends and relatives, he leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, Cecil, four children, Wayne at home, Mrs. Martin Gilroy of Spalding, Mrs. Bud Bower of Escalon, California and Kenneth of Wolbach, nine grandchildren and five brothers.
