Bio

From The Wolbach Messenger, January 2, 1974, transcribed by Linda Berney: Benjamin Wayne Studley was born December 15, 1911 in Greeley County to Benjamin and Cecil Jeffers Studley. He was educated and reared in the Wolbach area and later farmed with his parents north of Wolbach. Following the death of his father in 1956, he moved with his mother into Wolbach where he had since resided. Wayne was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wolbach. He passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25th at the Lutheran Hospital in Grand Island at the age of 62 years. Surviving are his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bower of Escalon, California and Mrs. Merle Gilroy of Spalding; one brother, Kenneth of Grand Island, and four nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
