From The Wolbach Messenger, August 27, 1964, transcribed by Linda Berney: Ora Studley was born on Sept. 25, 1893 to George and Sarah Studley in Republican County, Kansas and died August 19th a the Howard County Memorial Hospital at St. Paul at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 23 days. He moved to Greeley County with his family when six months old, where he lived his entire life farming in the Logan and Star communities northeast of Wolbach. He moved to Wolbach in 1962, retiring from farming due to ill health. He was united in marriage to Irene Jeffres on March 5th, 1919. She died in 1928. Ora was baptized in the Methodist faith and was a member of the Wolbach Masonic Lodge. Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are four brothers, George, Charles and Eddie of Wolbach and Harry of Santa Anna, Calif., and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
