Bio
Nels F. Lilliedoll, son of Frank J. and Celia Lilliedoll, was born in Missouri Jan. 3, 1875. While he was still a small boy his parents located at Shickley, Neb., where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage with Gertrude Johnson of Oak, Neb., Aug. 4, 1898. For a few years he was engaged in farming in the vicinity of Oak. In 1916, with his brother Lee, he purchased a drug store in Sutton, Neb., where he remained in business until he retired in 1946, at which time he purchased a home in Oak and resided there up to the time of his death on Mar. 26, 1951, at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 23 days. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Gertrude; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Miller and Mrs. Esther Stamps of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Lee, of Omaha, and Ray J. of Bruning, Neb.; numerous other relatives and a legion of friends. All will greatly miss his pleasant personality and friendly companionship - for his was the disposition which had a smile for everyone. Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Mar. 28, in the Oak Community Church in charge of the the Rev. Dunbar, with interment in the Edgar, Neb., cemetery. The pallbearers were John Scroggin, Eugene Follmer, Harry Moore, James Moore, Jack Montgomery and Farmer Corman. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, March 29, 1951
