Husbands: Patrick Joseph McMahon, 1900 Christley Andrew Rains, 1907 Amy Augusta Liliedoll was born, in Galesburg, Ill. September 17, 1877, and departed this life May 18, 1918, at the age of 40 years, 8 months and 8 days. She was married to P.J. McMan (sic) in September 1900. She was the mother of four children, two having passed to the great beyond in infancy. She leaves to mourn her departure two daughters, Vesta, aged 16, and Marie, aged 14; her mother, Mrs. Celia Liliedoll; two sisters, Mrs. Miller of Shickley, and Mrs. Lee Powell of Portland, Oregon; three brothers, Lee and Nels Liliedoll of Sutton, Nebr., and Seth Liliedoll of Rose Pine, La. For a number of years she lived in Deadwood, S. Dakota. About seven years ago she took up her residence on a farm near Lincoln. Last Tuesday evening at the summons of the great messenger she laid down her earthly work. See was a devoted, self-sacrificing mother. Her highest ambition was to rear and educate her daughters. We shall miss her, but are comforted in the confidence that "He who doth mark the sparrow's fall" has taken her to her reward. The funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon by Rev. B. H. Tipton at the home of Nels Miller. Interment was made in the Stockholm Lutheran Cemetery. (Shickley Herald, May 17, 1918, p1)
