Bio

Born the daughter of James Leverett Green (1884 – 1964) and Nannie Mae Green (1893 – 1949). She married Roland Truman Wade (1928 – 2009) and their children were Randy Paul Wade born 1952, Wally Brit Wade (1954 – 1954), and Ginger Kay Wade (1956 – 1956). Mrs. Wade was active her entire life in the Baptist church and spent much of her time studying the Bible and Biblical writings. She and her husband lived most of their lives in Houston, Harris Co., Texas where she assisted her husband with his WadeCo Inc. machine shop business. To eat in her home was a treat indeed. After her huband's retirement they moved to their early home of Upshur County and built a small home behind her brother-in-law's home south of Gilmer on U.S. Highway 271 on land previously owned by J. C. (Cliff) and Vida Langford where they had a garden and she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers.
