Obituaries The Jacksonville Daily Progress November 3, 2006 Services for Jeanne W. Danner, 89, of Gilmer, formerly of Jacksonville, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Vernon Lee and Mr. Truman Wade officiating, under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Jacksonville. Mrs. Danner died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at a Gilmer nursing home. She was born Aug. 4, 1917, in Upshur County to Lev and Nannie Mae Boulware Green. She was a retired insurance secretary and was a member of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Danner, sisters, Naomi Crosby and Euda Maberry; and brother, Boulware Green. Survivors include sisters, Mozelle Drennan of Texarkana and Jo Willie Wade of Gilmer; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be nephews. Public viewing will be both Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 and Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, until 11 a.m.
