"Orland Unit" (Orland, California), Thursday, 20 December 1956, Page 1, Column 7 Last Rites Held for F. W. Brumbaugh Funeral services are being held here this afternoon for Franklin West Brumbaugh, 80, who died Monday evening in Glenn General hospital, where he had been a patient for four weeks. He had been an Orland rancher for the past 21 years. He was born in Indiana, Oct. 19, 1876. Rev. Richard H. Walsh, pastor of the Federated church, is the officiating clergyman at the funeral services in the F. D. Sweet & Son chapel and at the graveside in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Brumbaugh leaves two sons, Floran E. of Orland, and Melvin of Hayward; a daughter, Mrs. Ada Rose of Gerber; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cragen of San Francisco; Mrs. Mollie Butler, of Oakland, and Mrs. Grace Spatch, of Phoenix, Ariz., a brother, James Brumbaugh, of Stockton; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. - Transcribed by E.
