Her obituary reads: Mrs. Frank W. Brumbaugh of Arnold died at the Broken Bow hospital after a brief illness at the age of 42 years, 3 months and 1 day. nee Charlotte Mae Woodward she was born to Mr. and Mrs. James M. Woodward on July 14, 1887 at Seneca, Missouri. Her parents died when she was a small girl, and she went to live with her aunt, until she came to Sargent, Nebraska with her brother. In early life, she confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Christian Church at Seneca. Missouri. On December 24, 1900, she was united in marriage to Frank W. Brumbaugh, Broken Bow. To this union were born 3 sons and 1 daughter. They lived at Sargent about 12 years, then moved to Antioch, Nebraska. In 1918 they moved to Dunning where they lived on a farm until they moved to Arnold 5 years ago and where they have since made their home. She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Brumbaugh, 3 sons, Floren E. Brumbaugh of Lexington, Laurence C. Brumbaugh and Melvin, and daughter Ida, of Arnold, 1 granddaughter, 1 brother, B.T. Woodward of Gillette, Wyoming. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Arnold on Tuesday, September 17, Rev. Burnham preaching the funeral services. The impressive Rebekah services were held at the Arnold Cemetery where interment was made. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet, composed of Mrs. George Bailey, Maudie. Guter, Mrs. Nelson Downing, L.P. Rose and C.B. Pearce, with Fletcher Turley, Clint Haught and Walter Holt.
