Highly Regarded Resident of Pine Level Passes at Home In the passing of Mr. A. C. (Clayte) Nelson Pulaski county loses another of the splendid citizens and leading farmers. Survivors include: Mrs. A. C. Nelson, the wife of the deceased; one daughter, Mrs. Troy Alford, of Trenton Tenn.; four sons, J. D., Alfred and Grady of this county and Russell of Tallahassee Fla; four brothers, Eugene Nelson of Dooly County, C. L. Nelson, of Dodge County, Frank Nelson, of Pulaski, and G. A. Nelson, also of Pulaski; and ten grandchildren. Mr. Nelson came to this county at the age of 11 from Houston county. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson and a member of the Primitive Baptist church. He married Miss Emma J. Vaughn 47 years ago. He was a man of strong character and enduring friendship. He stood for the best and was highly respected and beloved by his many friends and neighbors. He raised a family of fine citizens and he leaves throughout this section relations who stand high in the estimation of the people.
