Funeral services for Fayla Glynn Taylor were held at the First United Methodist Church with Rev Jeff Miller and Rev Charles West officiating. Fayla was born the third of four children to W.A. and Lenora McIntire. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1969 and advanced her education at Tarleton State University. She married Phillip Ray Taylor in Breckenridge on May 30, 1970. Phil and Fayla celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Fayla was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a past member of Xi-Chi Upsilon of Beta Sigma Phi, a 4-H Adult Leader, and a member of the Gunsight Cemetery Association. She loved traveling with her husband Phil and spending time with family and friends, but cherished being with her children and grandchildren. She was an anchor and matriarch for her family. Fayla retired from First Ag Credit of Graham in 2009; prior to that time working as a bookkeeper for Howard Scallorn Oil and Cawthron Oil of Breckenridge.
