Bio

Rebecca was the daughter of James Neyland and Charlotte Dupree, daughter of John Dupree of Jefferson Co., Georgia. Rebecca married John Mask, son of Pleasant Moses Mask and 2. Patsey Hall, on June 26, 1835 in Sumter Co., Georgia. The family was in Homer, Claiborne Parish, LA by 1850. Rebecca and John were the parents of six sons and six daughters. John and Rebecca are buried at the foot of John Clark Caskey's grave. He was married to their daughter, Mary Ann Elizabeth Mask. --Shirley Burks Wells
