Vlach which occurred in her home at Clarkson, Tuesday morning, came as a distinct shock to everyone. Mrs. Vlach was found by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Vlach, on the bathroom floor, where she had fallen shortly after the breakfast hour. Mrs. Vlach summoned her husband who was able to lift his mother but she expired in her son's arms within a few moments. Mrs. Vlach's maiden name was Anna Hemerka. She was born at Dodge on April 7, 1876, and died at Clarkson on Jan. 24, 1933, at the age of 56 years, nine months and 17 days. She grew to young womanhood at Dodge and was united in marriage to Joseph Vlach on Feb. 17, 1894. Three years ago they moved to Clarkson. In the spring of 1932 Mrs. Vlach suffered a paralytic stroke and for some weeks her condition caused much alarm.
