According to 1910 US Census, immigration from Bohemia in 1868, with husband John Hemerka Two daughters: Anna Hemerka Vlach and Mary Hemerka Luxa The Dodge Criterion (Dodge, Nebraska) 15 Jan 1914, Thu Page 4 Mrs. Anna Hemerka died Monday January 12, 1914, at the age of 77 years. Her death was a sudden one, her daughter, Mrs. Jos. K. Vlach, with whom she made her home, having found her dead that morning. She came to America with her husband in the seventies and they located on the farm where she died and where she had lived ever since coming to the country. Her husband died in 1898. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jos. W. Luxa of Stanton county, and Mrs. Jos. K. Vlach, well known here. The funeral as held yesterday at the home and the body laid to rest in the Bohemian National cemetery.
