According to 1920 US Census, immigration from Bohemia 1878 with husband Frank Karnik. The 1880 Census has the following children who accompanied the parents from Bohemia: Mary Karnik (12 yrs) Anna Karnik (9 yrs) Antonia Karnik (5 yrs) Children born in Nebraska: Anton Charles Jerome Frances And son Joseph, who died in infancy The Dodge Criterion (Dodge, Nebraska) 30 Dec 1943, Thu Page 1 Services Held For Mrs. Barbara Karnik Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Karnik, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 21, were held Friday afternoon with short prayer service at the Chas. Karnik home and services 2:00 o'clock in the Bohemian National Chapel. Rev. Filip of Clarkson conducted the services with both English and Bohemian sermons. Vocal music was by Miss Iris Kauffold and her father, E.E. Kauffold with Mrs. Leah Kincaid accompanist. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
