Funeral services for Orin Thompson, 79, who was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital in Borger Sunday morning, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist Church of Stinnett. The Rev. Olin Butler, pastor of the White Deer Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery of Stinnett by Minton Mortuary. Mr. Thompson was born in Montague County and had lived n Hutchinson County since 1915. He was a retired rancher and a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Hazel, of the home; sons, Fred of Amarillo, Orin of Stinnett, Roy of Happy, Bob of Guthrie and Marshall of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Williams of Dill Air Force Base, Calif.; brothers, Emmett of Quanah and Fred of Ada, Okla.; sisters, Mrs. Willie Boyett of McLean and Mrs. Maude Prefountain of Ada; and 11 grandchildren.
