NORFOLK DAILY NEWS; Norfolk, Nebraska; Saturday, June 26, 1976; page 10 Local Scene Carrico Services Monday Services for Luella Carrico, 85, of 229 Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church with the Rev. James Landrum officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery at Battle Creek. The body will lie in state Sunday, 3 - 9 p.m. at the Howser Mortuary. She was born Feb. 1, 1891 in Brown County to Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Freeman and died Friday, in the Wisner Manor where she had lived the past several years. She married Wiley Carrico, May 8, 1909, and the couple lived in Battle Creek, western Nebraska and Wyoming before moving to Norfolk in 1923. She was baptized in the Christian Church at Genesee, Idaho, December 10, 1926. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Verna) Kohler of Norfolk, and Mrs. Robert (Joy) Nelson, of Springfield, Pa., three sons, Frank of Norfolk, Howard of Kearney and Joe of Buena Park, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter and two sons in infancy.
