Birth date on tombstone is incorrect. Mrs. Grace E. Moore, 56, of Gillespie, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. A native of lowa, she is survived by her husband, Braden Moore; her mother, Mrs. Julia Thompson of Gillespie; three sons, Carl Wheeler of Coin, Iowa, Earl Wheeler of Alton and Terry Moore of Litchfield; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Spencer and Mrs. Gloria St. Clair, both of Gillespie; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Kelly of Gillespie and 12 grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Union Funeral Home in Gillespie and burial will be in Gillespie City Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Published in the Alton Telegraph (Alton, Illinois) on Monday, March 8, 1976.
