Bio

Julia Thompson , 81, of Gillespie, died at 11:25 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield. Private services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Maas Funeral Home, Gillespie and burial will be in Gillespie City Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Kelly of Gillespie; one brother, James Jones of Murrayville; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Seymour of Murrayville and Mrs. Sadie Loras of Kalispell, Mont.; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Published in the State Journal-Register (Sprignfield, Illinois) on Tuesday, October 10, 1978.
