Passed at Covenant Health and Rehab. Mr. Preister was born in Humphrey, NE and had been a resident of Vicksburg, MS for the past 6 years. He was the son of the late John Preister and Barbara Babel Priester. He was a graduate of St. Francis Catholic High School in Humphrey and Norfolk Junior College in Norfolk, NE. He was an instructor for AT&T with 33 years of service. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the Catholic faith. Mr. Preister is survived by his wife Pat Preister, Vicksburg; 2 daughters, Kim Machacek, St. Peters, MO, Suzie Lef-fers, Norfolk; 2 sons, Dan Preister, Moorhead, MN, Gary Preister, Blair; 2 stepdaughters, Stephanie Kayser, Putnam, IL, Amber Bartlett, Ottawa, IL; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 3 sisters, Lois Koelzer, Carlene Vellu-tini, Odie Barry, all of Omaha; 2 brothers, Norm Preister, Omaha, and Rollie Preister, Fremont, NE. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a stepson Brad Schroll; and 2 brothers, Loren and Milton Preister. SERVICES 2pm Tuesday at Riles Funeral Home, with Monsignor Patrick Farrell Pastor of St. Paul Catholic Church, officiating. Burial in Green Acres Memorial Park.
