Bio

Verna Riha was born at David City, Nebraska, on Nov 3, 1889, died at her home near Hemingford, Nebraska, on Saturday, Feb. 13, 1915. On January 21, 1013, she was married to Joseph Urbanovsky, of Hemingford, and with her husband has since resided on his farm northeast of town. No children were born to this union. Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves a father and mother, a brother and two sisters to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church here on Wednesday morning, the Rev. Father Keyser officiating. **Family legend states that Vernie was murdered by her husband. As of now, there isn't any proof to this situation.
