Bio

ELSIE VYVIAL was born in Needville, TX, on January 3, 1921, to Henry and Frances Sury. She peacefully passed away and joined her husband John R. Vyvial, on August 21, 2010. She was 89. She was the very best Mom ever and will be greatly missed by her son Dan Vyvial and wife Liz of Gonzales, LA, son Mel Vyvial and wife Janis of Baytown, and daughter Denise Owen and husband Jerry of Pearland, TX. She was very much loved by grandchildren Kim Campbell and husband Trey, Josh Owen and wife Lea and Tessa Owen. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 23, 2010, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Dickinson Texas. Donations may be made in her name to the Hospice Care Team, Inc., 1708 Amburn, Suite C, Texas City, TX 77591.
