Published in The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, AL, Tuesday, July 18, 2000 Clyde Lee Chapman, 77, Athens, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The graveside service with military honors will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Roselawn Funeral Home of Decatur in charge. Mr. Chapman was a native of Limestone County and a World War II Navy veteran. He retired after 20 years of military service and worked in the retail jewelry business. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Chapman; one daughter, Barbara McBride of Madison; two brothers, Jerry Chapman of Elkmont and Chester Chapman of Killen; one sister, Dorothy Jean Henson of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.
