Graveside services for Mary Ruth [Williams] Adams Chapman, 79, of Madison, formerly of Athens, will be today at Roselawn Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Chapman died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at her daughter's residence in Madison, AL. She was born August 13, 1923, in Sparta, TN, to William Lee Williams and Vallie Mae Carter Williams. She was a lifelong resident of Limestone County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Adams; her second husband, Clyde Chapman; and two brothers, John Williams and Bob Williams. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara McBride of Madison; one sister, Mildred Owens of Madison; three brothers, Elden "Bill" Williams, Herbert Williams, and Ray Williams, all of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
