Son of James and Catherine (Hodges) Timmins ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ George Luke Timmins, Prescott, died Sunday at 4:45 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, in Fort Scott where he had been a patient nearly a month. He was born, May 25, 1876 in Fort Scott to James and Katherine Timmins. On Dec. 1, 1919 he married; Marilla Chadwick at Berryville, Ark. Survivors are the wife, a son, George Timmins, 1281 Crawford, Fort Scott; and a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Zelma) Wardrip, Fulton. There are two grandchildren. The funeral services were held Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. at the Prescott Methodist Church. Burial was in Battlefield Cemetery, northwest of Prescott.
